adult ministry

Life is busy. Between work, raising a family, and whatever else you juggle day to day, we understand that it's important for you to find certain things at Good Shepherd. Our goal is to help you feel that you are growing in faith, realize that you have something to offer, and know that you are connected to a community of people who want the same things.

EPISCOPAL WORSHIP DOESN'T JUST HAPPEN IN THE PEWS...

This year our formation offering for adults will give you a chance to explore and discuss the same stories you hear from the pulpit each week. As Episcopalians, we find value in asking questions and engaging in conversations that expand our perspectives. Grow in your faith and understanding of what it means to be a Christian by joining us on Sundays at 9:15am.

Significant service means...

We are called to be ambassadors and caregivers in our backyard, our city, and around the globe. We take an active role in sharing the teachings of Jesus and serving the poor and disenfranchised in his name.

As a church and as individual members, we volunteer our time and financially support efforts that make a difference in the lives of others. We love service projects in which everyone can contribute. We treasure our outreach partners and seek to expand those relationships to increase our impact.

FIND AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY

A PLACE TO BELONG

AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY MEANS...

We are like a big family, one where everyone belongs and enjoys life together. We try to be a warm and nurturing place for people of all ages, but we have a special place in our hearts for the young children running around the Parish Hall and the teenagers on their phones.

For many of us, this church is the center of our social life. For others, we are a home away from home and a second family. People form deep friendships here and can be themselves in a way they might not be able to in other parts of their life.
